Lynda Arsenault International FDI Consultant & Investment Executive, Canada – Invest Barbados

Lynda is an expert in attracting, maintaining and accelerating Foreign Direct Investment opportunities. With over 25 years of experience working in both the public and private sector, she has been instrumental in assisting close to 20 international economic development organizations, investment promotion agencies & special economic zones around the globe.

For 10 years, Lynda worked in the investment attraction division for the Canadian provincial government helping international companies’ set-up operations. In 2016, she began her own FDI consulting practice and joined forces with world class advisory partners including; Ryan Strategic Advisory and Genesis Global Business Services. Together, they’ve worked with economic development agencies in South Africa, Europe, North America and the Caribbean region. In 2023, Lynda was recruited by Invest Barbados as a new investment executive for the Canadian market and is focused on attracting investment opportunities into the innovative island nation.

Over her career, Lynda has engaged across multiple key sectors of growth; however, her main area of concentration has been on the Outsourcing Sector including GBS and Shared Services where she has become an influencer.

Ms. Arsenault sits on the regional board of The American Chamber of Commerce in Canada and is also a member of The Council of American States in Canada (CASC). She holds a Master’s Degree in E-Commerce (MEC) from Dalhousie University, an undergraduate degree from Saint Mary’s University and has obtained multiple diplomas in marketing, management, international business and web design. Lynda has also obtained the Designation – Certified International Trade Professional through The Forum for International Trade Training (FITT).
