Mario Siman is the co-founder of Novatech, a nearshore software development company with offices in El Salvador and Miami and engineers in 10 countries throughout Latin America. Novatech works with U.S. enterprise clients across multiple industry verticals on custom application development and staff augmentation projects. Testament to its strong company culture, Novatech was recognized as one of the top 3 tech employers for young professionals in Central America & the Caribbean in 2022 by Employers for Youth, also featuring in the top 5 in the previous year.
By harnessing the emerging software engineering workforce in Central America, Mario aims to bridge the expanding tech skills gap in the U.S., offering high-value job opportunities and playing an active role in regional economic development.
Inspiration for Novatech came from his family’s nearshore vertically integrated apparel manufacturing business, one of the largest employers in Central America. This business exports to top retailers in the U.S., and Mario was motivated to emulate this success within the digital landscape.
Prior to co-founding Novatech, Mario worked in Mergers & Acquisitions advisory at BNP Paribas in New York and as an Investment Professional at Prudential Private Capital in its Mexico City office.
Mario earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Entrepreneurship from Babson College, an institution that is globally recognized as the #1 school for entrepreneurship.
